Privacy Principles

Pre-launch notice: This page explains the privacy principles guiding Clarlume and the current marketing site. It is not the final privacy policy for the Clarlume product. A reviewed policy with complete product, processor, retention, and regional details will be published before beta onboarding begins.

Privacy is part of the product

Clarlume is designed for unfiltered thinking. That makes privacy a product requirement, not a settings-page afterthought.

The product is being developed around four commitments:

  • Your workspace is private by default.
  • Sharing should always be deliberate and specific.
  • You should be able to revisit, export, and remove your decisions.
  • Product data commitments should be understandable without legal translation.

Information the marketing site may collect

The public website may receive information in three ways:

  1. Information you submit. Beta request forms may ask for your name, email address, company stage, YC batch when relevant, and optional context about the decision problems you want Clarlume to help with.
  2. Basic technical information. Like most websites, hosting and security systems may process IP address, browser, device, request time, and similar diagnostic information needed to deliver and protect the site.
  3. Consented analytics. If you accept optional cookies, the site may use aggregate analytics to understand which pages are useful. You can reject optional cookies through the consent controls.

Please do not submit confidential company information, sensitive personal information, or production decision data through a beta request form.

Why information is used

Information submitted through the site may be used to:

  • Respond to beta access requests
  • Understand which decision workflows matter first
  • Communicate launch or onboarding information you requested
  • Operate, secure, and improve the website

Clarlume does not intend to sell personal information.

Service providers

The site may rely on hosting, analytics, and customer-support providers to operate. Beta request forms are currently designed to route submissions through a customer-support provider. These providers may process information only to deliver their services.

The final product privacy policy will identify material subprocessors before users are asked to place decision data in Clarlume.

Voice and decision data

The public marketing site does not currently provide the Clarlume decision workspace. Product-specific commitments for recordings, transcripts, decision briefs, model providers, retention, deletion, and model training will be published before private beta onboarding.

The intended baseline is simple: private workspace content should not become public or shared merely because it was processed by Clarlume.

You can reject optional cookies through the website controls. You may also request removal of information submitted through a beta form by contacting Clarlume through David Lee on X.

Changes

These principles will evolve into a complete privacy policy as the product and operating entity are finalized. The effective date above will change whenever this page is materially updated.
